Fest to get into Western swing of things
Wichita Falls will again become the center of the Western Swing music world Thursday to June 21, when Gloria Miers Productions presents the 21st annual Legends of Western Swing Festival at the Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall.

West Boulevard Festival-goers gear up for big weekend
Amid piles of wood from old Victorian houses and hotel doors, Dixie Oyler of Rapid City pieced together another wall hanging to sell at the West Boulevard Summer Festival. Oyler sold almost all of her products last weekend at the Sugar Valley Festival in Scottsbluff, Neb., and she was busily preparing more merchandise for this weekend.

Do it with Pride
Tallahassee PrideFest 2008 struts down the home stretch with events that include a Pride Pre-Party featuring the fabulous Veronica at 10 p.m. today at Club Rayn, 1660 N. Monroe St. General admission is $15, VIP admission is $20. The main event is Pride in the Park, with Jade Esteban Estrada, live music, comedians and special guest Truly Tina. It takes place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
