A large barn two miles west of Waconia, near Goose Lake, was destroyed by fire Thursday, June 19 some time after 7 p.m. The Waconia Fire Department, along with several neighboring departments were reportedly on the scene of the fire on Goose Lake Drive, property owned by Dave and Carla Brockpahler, just off County Road 30.
