The following is a list of some of the fireworks displays planned in the New River Valley: Radford A full day of celebration beginning at 7 a.m. with registration for a 5K race. There’s a bike rodeo, pony rides, a dog show, a mechanical bull and a karaoke contest. There’s also music from the Java Brothers and Jimmy Fortune and, of course, fireworks.
