Concert series kicks off in Geick Park next week
OLD BRIDGE - It's summertime, and in the township, that means time to break out the picnic basket, cooler and lawn chairs, and head to Geick Park for an evening of live music under the stars. The Summer Music Series kicks off at 7:30 p.m. July 8 with a show by The Zanzibar Band, and continues each Tuesday through Aug. 5.

Historic church to present free concerts
Music at Historic Christ Church, 5 Paterson St., New Brunswick, will offer two upcoming free concerts for the community. "Let Freedom Ring!" is set for 11 a.m. on July 4. The event will feature live music and a re-enactment of the third reading of the Declaration of Independence that took place in 1776 in New Brunswick. Refreshments will be available.
