Coffeeville holds 4th fireworks show
Coffeeville's July 4th fireworks show had to be postponed for a few minutes while Mother Nature put on her own- a spectacular lightning show. Farm Boy and Farm Girl T-shirts were given away prior to the show. Coffeeville native Ashton Shepherd, a rising country music star, has endorsed the apparel and her picture is on the shirt's tags.

Variety of fun at Jackson's 4th
Skylar Harden of Brandon, Miss. (top left) was the winner of the Colgate Country Showdown music contest held as part of the July 4 festivities at the fairgrounds in Jackson. Rain cut short the contest, but the weather cleared up enough to have the fireworks display (top right) - although the fireworks show was abbreviated due to an unknown technical problem.
