Big Easy's family reunion
NEW ORLEANS The Neville Brothers helped close out the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival for the first time since Hurricane Katrina flooded and wrecked their homes in 2005. The brothers -- Aaron, Art, Cyril and Charles -- performed on the festival's biggest stage in front of an immense crowd that appeared delighted to have them back.

Warner Picks Up Ditch
Warner Brothers has picked up The Ditch , an SF action spec script from prolific music-video and documentary producer Sascha Penn, Variety reported. Set in the future, the film takes place in a super maximum-security prison on one of Jupiter's moons, where Earth's worst criminals are incarcerated.

The blue weight looks odd on the base of Frances Tietov's elegant gold harp. But it allows her to perform. Tietov, 63, became principal harp of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra in 1970. Eighteen years later, she developed an overuse injury that took her out for more than a year.
