Add Sizzle to your Saturday
The second annual Sertoma Summer Sizzle starts at 10 a.m. Saturday at Summers at the River, 2126 N. Fox Hollow Blvd., Nixa. The event features a kickball tournament, a celebrity barbecue-eating contest, music, a backyard barbecue competition and the 19th Hole Concert at 6 p.m. with Ryan James, the Mark Chapman Band (pictured) and the Eli Young Band.

DJ Diplo performs at the 40 Watt Club on July 11. Diplo, who worked with M.I.A. on her critically acclaimed album, "Arular," and is famous for his remixes of world music, chose a few smaller cities to stop at during his international tour. Dark Meat, a band comprised of friends of his, opened.
