Sandwich Opera House offers music, dance, even a 'Phantom'
SANDWICH -- When the 1878 Sandwich Opera House/City Hall was renovated and started holding live performances in 1986, the future of the activity schedule was unknown. Now, through the support of many local citizens, the opera house is a hub of entertainment for folks of all ages in the entire area.

Community to mark Starr Clark's birthday
The guest of honor won't be able to make it to his birthday party, but organizers promise it will still be a lot of fun. Starr Clark, whose tin shop in Mexico played an integral part in the Underground Railroad in the mid-1800s, was born Aug. 2, according to Bonnie Kastler, of Mexico.
