It marked the marriage of music with politics and spawned a generation of political activists. Thirty years after Rock Against Racism, in a more cynical and apathetic age, some of the musicians who were there at the start will reiterate their message to a huge crowds once again.

I like the idea of incremental changes. Technically speaking, I think it can make them move faster because they don't have to rewrite (partially or totally) basic components. It also makes a part of their userbase feel more comfortable because there's no radical changes from one version to another.
