Musician cuts concert costs with a canoe tour
Folk musician Christopher Bell has figured out a unique way to stave off gas prices this summer. Fed up with paying the cost of fueling his 1997 Toyota Corolla while on tour, he has decided to rely on manpower alone. He plans to canoe 550 miles down the Erie Canal and Hudson River, from Buffalo to New York City, making concert stops along the way.
