Folklife artists chosen for festival
The latest step in the march toward October's Richmond Folk Festival is the unveiling of this year's theme for the Virginia Folklife Area. Billed as "New Neighbors: Common Ground in the Commonwealth," the area will explore the artistry and community life of new immigrants to Virginia through music and lace making, dancing and the designing of ceremonial costumes.
