Benefit scheduled for Aurora teen injured in shooting
Richard "Tre" Winfrey, who was paralyzed at age 17 in a shooting last year, has the Chicago Bears on his team. Defensive lineman Israel Idonije will join Aurora R&B artist Marlon "Brando" Robinson and State Rep. Linda Chapa LaVia at a benefit for Winfrey at 3 p.m. Saturday in the East Aurora High.

Members of TONIK Tap discovered this earlier in the year when their wooden floor inexplicably went missing from its storage place in an apartment. Paxton girl takes prize
Thirteen-year-old Mackenzie Melemed of Paxton was the winner this week of the Young Artist Competition presented by the Music Guild and Music Worcester Inc. The competition was held Tuesday at Alden Memorial Hall, WPI. "We had an extremely high level of skill in the field of entrants and a wonderfully diverse group in many ways," said Midge Hamilton of Music Worcester.
