Kudos to Camp Meeting committees
I just want to say how much I enjoyed the Camp Meeting at Village United Methodist Church on Aug. 10. It was truly an inspirational and nostalgic event, with unique customs and music. Even the sermon was fairly literate, considering who was preaching that day. I did, however, resent being told that I couldn't smoke my pipe during the service.
