Aug. 20, 2008 — Nashville is officially known as Music City, though Monday night, it was Partytown for a flock of acts with feet in both pop and country music. Jessica Simpson and Kid Rock — both of whom have drifted into country’s Top 20 of late from other genres — were spotted around Lower Broadway with John Rich, of the genre-bending duo Big & Rich, according to WKRN-TV.
