MTV's MHD Reinvents Itself
MTV 's HD music channel MHD is getting a makeover, with the channel being renamed Palladia as of September 1. Tom Calderone , VH1 EVP/GM, also oversees the channel and told Multichannel News , "The old name felt a little antiseptic for us" and the new moniker lets viewers "know that this is not just a channel that repurposes some of the music shows from MTV, VH1 and CMT ."
