Officials warn against illegal downloading
The Recording Industry Association of America has been cracking down on illegal distribution of music from peer-to-peer applications. The increase is specifically targeting higher education, said Associate Network Director Mark Strandskov. The RIAA sends a take-down notice to the network provider, asking the user to stop all illegal activity.
