Spill Canvas
"All Hail The Heartbreaker" by the Spill Canvas blared in my car, and simultaneously my sister and I whipped our necks around to look at each other in confusion. This tune that we had listened to for years on a CD was now playing on the radio. It was June 1, the day of The Spill Canvas concert and my interview with Joe, the drummer of the band.

On Repeat: High Places: "From Stardust to Sentience" [MP3/Stream]
Brooklyn's High Places probably aren't the kind of band that will set their world on fire. They don't write anthems; their live show, though certainly appealing, involves a dude standing over a table full of electronic junk and a woman who sings softly into a microphone and doesn't move a whole lot; their music, released mostly on singles, was initially hard to track down (Thrill Jockey ...

While not the only DIY guy out there, there's no doubt he has inspired others to get off their asses and bring their ideas to life. From his ...

Nope, our subject is a very good singing group from the Los Angeles area who called ...
