GrapeFest to featurea variety of top wines
The city of Grapevine, just north of the Metroplex, is ready for a big weekend. Its annual flagship event, GrapeFest, is Sept. 11-14. GrapeFest, with the slogan "Lone Star Grown, Internationally Known," is in its 22nd year. It is the largest wine festival in the Southwest.

PROVIDENCE –– Great White, the band whose pyrotechnics set off the disastrous fire at The Station nightclub in 2003, has agreed to pay the victims $1 million in a tentative settlement agreement announced yesterday afternoon in a federal court filing.

Mike St. John has been listening to Run-DMC since he was a kid. "When I was 6, Run-DMC music was the first I ever listened to. I still like them because they were the first ones to make rap popular," the Houghton Lake junior said. "The music I have is so old that it is on tapes.
