'Sultry' singer to kick off Wachovia Jazz Series
Paula West is coming east. The California-based jazz singer has been chosen by Wachovia Jazz Series producer Michael Grofsorean to kick off the ever-popular Spoleto Festival USA series today at the College of Charleston's Cistern. Grofsorean has developed a knack for choosing female singers over the course of his nearly 30-year run presenting the festival's jazz program.

Review: Violinist steals show at KSO
