MINNEAPOLIS----MakeMusic, Inc. today announced monthly subscription results for SmartMusic®, the music learning software for band, orchestra and choir. SmartMusic subscriptions as of November month-end numbered 104,907, representing a net gain of 2,544 from the previous month and a 23% increase over the prior year.

After closing Jenicca's, owners to open art gallery
Jenicca's cafe and wine bar closed Saturday at 636 E. Market St., four years after sisters Jennifer and Rebecca Simpson opened it. Rebecca Simpson said she hopes to open a new art gallery with a room for live music in January in a vacant storefront at the East Market Lofts building at 325 E. Market. It would likely be called the East Market SAM (Scene for Art and Music) Gallery, she said.
